On May 28-29, 2009 in Yekaterinburg the II annual contest “The best abrasive-jet-grinder and decorator of the year – 2009” took place.

The first contest was held in 2008 in Saint Petersburg and was followed with numerous positive reviews from specialists of construction branches. In 2008 the team of IPC Company became the leader in the number of medals and winner of all three contests: theoretical training, contest of abrasive-jet-grinders and contest of decorators. 

This year the choice of the contest location fell on the capital of Ural on the eve of the international summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. 

And in 2009 IPC Company again becomes the leader in the number of medals, equally winning prize places in the contest of decorators and contest of abrasive-jet-grinders.

IPC team members with all their hearts congratulate Mr. Vladimir Viktorovich Popidchenko and Mr. Igor Aleksandrovich Mekhov, the company’s employees who occupied the victory podium and proved a high level of training of IPC specialists!     

Each team consisted of three people: decorator, abrasive-jet-grinder and assistant technician. The contest judging panel comprised experts of companies and organizations: «International» (AkzoNobel), CJSC NPP VMP, CJSC Hempel, SteelPaint GmbH, LLC Jotun Paints, Association of Builders of Yekaterinburg.

The first day was dedicated to a competition of abrasive-jet-grinders. For practical testing of skills and abilities the participants got an assignment to clear the territory of the river support wall with the total area of 400 square meters. On the same day decorators-trainees took the theoretical examination.   

On the second day decorators contested to demonstrate their skills. They painted 3 tanks “TGK-9”. It was the turn of abrasive-jet-grinders to take the theoretical examination.
